With over 200 recordings to his credit, Carl’s profound and propulsive percolations provided soulful and syncopated support for nearly three decades. His new Vater Drumstick model is lathe turned out of American Hickory and measures .535” in the grip, which is just over a 7A size. With 16” in length, it also has a long, pointed tip that delivers a full, broad cymbal sound with some excellent rebound.
