Two 6973 tubes are used in the power amplifier and four 12AX7 in the preamplifier. You get 24 watts (Class A) and it has two channels, which can also be played in parallel. The controls are also the same with Volume 1, Volume 2, Tone, Speed and Depth for the valve-driven tremolo, and two inputs. The original highly customised Supro that Jimmy Page used to record much of the early Zeppelin records was a combo and so this head version isn’t a direct copy but does allow you to use it with other cabinets for example. |
