The nickel covered SH-12 Screamin' Demon from Seymour Duncan is a bridge humbucker pickup with a medium output designed to deliver crisp 80's sizzle with a scooped mid-range. Utilizing slightly over-wound coils, an alnico 5 bar magnet, and a mix of pole pieces that include one row of standard adjustable screws and one row of Allen head screws, the Screamin' Demon offers a big, open tone with a treble emphasis that keeps your pick attack sounding articulate at any level of distortion. Originally designed as a bridge pickup, the 10k Screamin' Demon is also a great neck pickup when paired with a higher output humbucker in the bridge. The pickup also uses a silver-nickel bottom plate, a 4-conductor lead wire for multiple wiring options, and is vacuum wax potted for squeal-free performance. The SH-12 is carefully hand-built in Santa Barbara, CA. |
