About This Product

Description:

As the name suggests, the MSC40&41 Pro has been designed by MOOER to provide a slightly higher-end addition to the MSC10 series. While the design team has stuck to a classic electric guitar design style rather than applying intelligent features, the guitar still boasts enhanced craftsmanship–especially when it comes to tonewoods and electronics. For example, even the flagship models in the MSC10 Pro + series are designed with a poplar body, whereas the MSC40 Pro enhances this poplar with a beautifully Quilted Maple top and the MSC41 Pro enhances this poplar with a beautifully resonant flamed maple top.

In terms of the MSC40&41 Pro's neck design, there are a lot of similarities with the MSC10 Pro + series. For instance, it is built with roasted maple, finished with satin, decorated with a dotted white shell inlay, and features 22 nickel steel frets. Furthermore, it has a bolt-on construction, a bone nut, a standard C shape, and is supported by a dual-action steel truss rod. However, it stands out with its rosewood fingerboard, which makes for an undeniably warm tone, smooth feel, and enhanced durability over necks in the MSC series. Topping this off, the neck is also built with an MTN-2 chrome tuning mechanism, representing another significant upgrade to the series.

Another unique aspect of the MSC40&41 Pro is that, rather than coming in various colors like some members of the MSC series, it is only available in one carefully chosen color: Dreamy Blue. Complete with a gloss finish, white scratchplate, white back, and chrome strap pin, this makes the MSC40&41 Pro stand out particularly beautifully in atmospheric, reverb-drenched performances, although it's bound to make a lasting impression regardless of genre.

As with the MSC10 Pro + series, the MSC40&41 Pro sports an exceptional range of pickups, consisting of the neck's MSC-1N single coil, the middle's MSC-1MS single coil, and most impressively, the bridge's MHB-1B humbucker. However, there is one key difference here; the MSC40&41 Pro comes complete with a coil split switch, as well as the standard 5-way switch and tone dial, helping guitarists select the perfect pickup combination for their desired tonal preference.

Finally, a notable upgrade for the MSC40&41 Pro is how it features an MTB-1 2-point tremolo bridge, rather than the 6-hole tremolo bridges of the MSC10 Pro +. Essentially, the benefit of this is heightened tuning stability when used with a tremolo bar, making this guitar an ideal choice for any guitarist who likes to use this technique without compromise during performance.

Overall, the MSC40&41 Pro is a uniquely designed guitar specifically appealing to those interested in the MSC10 Pro + series, but with improved tonewoods, pickup control, and tremolo functionality. Furthermore, the Dreamy Blue finish and overall aesthetic are bound to make this guitar a standout in MOOER’s electric guitar catalog, setting up 2025 to be another exciting year for the GGW team.
