Designed for modern metal players, the Nazgul Trembucker from Seymour Duncan is a humbucking pickup for use in the bridge position with an aggressive high-gain output that sounds lively, yet completely controllable. The pickup features a large ceramic bar magnet and custom windings to deliver an ideal blend of note articulation, saturation, and one of the most brutal "chugs" from a humbucker. The sound is harmonically rich across the entire audio spectrum with an extremely tight bass response.
Trembuckers have wider pole-piece spacing, well suited for symmetrical positioning under the strings of guitars with a tremolo or wide-spaced hardtail bridge (2" or wider from the center of the Low E to High E directly over the bridge pickup). The pickup also features a nickel-silver bottom plate, 4-conductor lead wire for multiple wiring options, and is vacuum wax potted for squeal-free performance. Like all Seymour Duncan pickups, the Nazgul Trembucker is carefully hand-built in Santa Barbara, CA. |
