The Vintage Stack Tele Set from Seymour Duncan includes two noiseless electric guitar pickups designed for use in the neck and bridge positions of a Telecaster. Both pickups have a traditional appearance and deliver the classic output and tone you would expect from a vintage Tele set, however, their stacked-coil construction cancels single-coil hum while retaining all the tonal nuances that Tele players crave.
The STK-T1N neck pickup's lows are full and warm, and the treble response has that classic Tele spank. In addition, its deep drawn chrome-plated cover conceals the stacked coils so it looks like a traditional single coil. The STK-T3B bridge pickup delivers classic lead tone, with all of the bright Tele twang. Its highs have a nice sparkle, while the low end is snappy and articulate.
As for construction, both the neck and bridge pickups use alnico 5 rod magnets, 4-conductor lead wires, and are wax potted for squeal-free operation. Like all Seymour Duncan pickups, the Vintage Stack Tele Set is hand built in Santa Barbara, California. |
