The Excel SS has asserted itself in the world of semi-hollow guitars. A 15-inch-wide single-cutaway, the SS is equal parts warm and punchy. Complementary Seymour Duncan humbuckers—a 59 in the neck position and an SH-4 in the bridge position—provide savory tone, and coil-splitting push/pull tone knobs allow for single-coil sparkle while still retaining output volume. A slim C-shape neck profile offers maximum comfort, while an ebony fingerboard with medium-jumbo fretwire by Jescar provides snappy articulation and remarkable sustain. Now available in Solid Black, Amaretto Burst, and Amber.
