The POWER BURST is a simple booster with one knob and three modes, providing a natural sense of compression and saturation. While maintaining a natural tone, it goes beyond merely increasing volume. By turning the Boost knob, it brings forth a “tube-like” compression and saturation. Whether you want to push forward during a guitar solo, add power without altering the sound character of other equipment when combined with this unit, or exert influence when seeking a harder edge in your sound, the POWER BURST is an effect pedal that delivers.
The POWER BURST brings a sound with “rich sustain,” allowing for the effective expression of guitar techniques inherent in the blues, such as bending and vibrato. Moreover, cranking up the BOOST to the maximum and driving the amp creates a classic rock sound.
Controls: BOOST Knob: Adjusts the amount of boost. Turning it to the right adds the distinctive saturation and compression typical of vacuum tubes.
Mini Switch: Offers three modes based on personal preference.
TREBLE: Emphasizes the high frequencies, suitable for situations where you want to highlight the treble.
NATURAL: Natural tube sound mode, serving as the standard mode.
MIDDLE: Emphasizes the mid-range frequencies, ideal for producing a thick sound or during solo performances.
Power Supply:
9V alkaline batteries (6LF22/6LR62) or DC.9V AC adapter (both sold separately)
The use of an AC adaptor is recommended as the unit’s power consumption is relatively high. Should you prefer to use batteries, please use the alkaline type.
