Pearl's Elite Series Birch Cajon is constructed using a blended Birch Meranti plywood for the body and a Walnut/Meranti Faceplate. Walnut produces a tone with more bottom end, and the fully glued-on faceplate has maximum contact with the Cajon body. This traditional-sized Cajon features a patented rear-facing base port that amplifies the thunderous low-end sound. The Cajon features two sets of fixed snare wires for a snappy, crisp response.
