That great tone you are hearing comes from the Seymour Duncan® Vintage Stack® in the neck position and a Bill Lawrence L-250 pickup in the bridge position. The sonic range of those pickups is taken up a few notches with the 6-tone mod that is standard on the Nele. The 6-way “Freeway Ultra” switch gives players access to the three common settings and then three additional hot-rod options. Each Nele is custom-built in the Washburn USA custom shop.
