Marshall 1960BX 4X12 100 Watt Straight Cabinet The Marshall 1960AX consists of 4 individual birch ply enclosures, each loaded with a 25 Watt Celestion G12M Greenback 12" speaker resulting in an over all handling capacity of 100W of vintage Marshall power. Tonally this speaker cabinet falls somewhere between the 1960A's tighter high end, and overall brightness and the 1960TV's smooth warmth bass. Greenback G12M speakers have a very distinctive sound with a quick, sharp response that adds detail and dynamics to both clean and dirty playing. The 1960AX Extension Cabinet uses handsome early '70s style LC checkered grille cloth and a less-textured vinyl covering. Please be aware a power brake is recommended If used as a half stack with a 100W head. |
