Description

The TB-4 JB Trembucker from Seymour Duncan is a humbucking pickup with reverse zebra bobbins and wide pole piece spacing for symmetrical positioning under the strings of guitars with a tremolo or wide-spaced hardtail bridge (2" or wider from the center of the Low E to High E directly over the bridge pickup). Like the SH-4 JB Model, the TB-4 is considered the ultimate hot-rodded humbucker, adding juice and versatility to the bridge position of any humbucker-equipped guitar. The pickup utilizes an alnico 5 bar magnet and a hot coil wind for an unmistakable upper midrange attack, a tight, articulate low end, and harmonically rich highs that truly sing. Additionally, the TB-4 features a nickel-silver bottom plate, 4-conductor lead wire for multiple wiring options, and is vacuum wax potted for squeal-free performance. The TB-4 pairs nicely with the SH-2n Jazz Model neck pickup for the ideal hot-rodded humbucker set, offering a versatile sound that works for almost any style of music. Many great players favor the TB-4 and it comes installed as a stock pickup in numerous humbucker-equipped guitars built by manufacturers such as ESP, Washburn, Jackson, and Schecter. The TB-4 is carefully hand-built in Santa Barbara, California.
